Jeff A. McMahan, CFP®
Jeff has been a financial professional for more than 30 years. After starting his career in Indianapolis, he eventually moved to Silicon Valley where he spent 10 years as an investment advisor for Menlo Financial Services. He was also active with the NETWORK, an early financial advisory association based in Menlo Park, and spoke frequently to advisors on how to deliver premium client service. In 1994, Jeff founded McMahan Capital Management in Redwood City, CA, and in 1998, made the decision to move the practice back to Indiana to be near family. He continues to work with many of his original California clients and others throughout the Midwest.
In 2017, Jeff and McMahan Capital were recognized with the first Legacy Award presented by the client-service technology platform Junxure. Jeff was one of three financial advisors who began development of what in 2002 became Junxure, the leading client service platform in the financial services industry.
Jeff is a trained and active volunteer for CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), a national program which educates volunteers about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills, including team organization, fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations.
For a number of years, he was also involved with Miles for Myeloma, an awareness- and fund-raising cycling tour sponsored by the Simon Cancer Center at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Jeff holds a BS in finance from Indiana University, and completed the requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER
professional at the College for Financial Planning. When not working, Jeff enjoys concerts, art galleries and long walks with Dakota (an amazing Goldendoodle.)
Angela S. Colling
Angela is Director of Client Services with McMahan Capital Management. She has over 20 years experience in office administration and joined McMahan Capital Management in 2007. She is responsible for front and back office operations handling new account setup, transfers, account maintenance, billing, report preparation, recordkeeping and assistance in regulatory compliance.
Angela is the point of contact for all the administrative aspects of your accounts. She is extremely detail oriented and dedicated to being organized and accurate in everything she does on behalf of her clients. At the same time, she is warm and friendly, and clients appreciate her ability to connect with them wherever they may be in their life and financial journeys.
When not working, she enjoys gardening, being outdoors, painting and spending time with family and friends.
